Mount Peter is located in Warwick, just one hour from New York City (the George Washington
Bridge) in the Hudson Valley, of Orange County, New York. 


Mount Peter’s Ski Patrol is a member organization of The National Ski Patrol.  The department
is comprised of volunteers and paid patrollers who provide emergency first aid and medical
services as well as using their ski and snowboard skills to provide on-hill rescue and treatment.
Duties include proving medical treatment and transportation off of the mountain, set up and
breakdown of trails, working with mountain operations daily on trail openings, closing,
conditions, hill markings, etc., as well as provide guest education on skier safety. Job
requirements: OEC certification, or EMT technician, strong skiing or snowboarding skills for on
hill patrollers.
